Why Did I Do This?

I'm an avid baker, so I knew I had to make this project somehow baking-related. Meanwhile, one of my favorite running jokes about the online baking community is the tendency for recipe blogs to have these extremely long chunks of narrative and context and background before actually getting to the recipe itself. Since the concept of my project did, in fact, consist of a lot of narrative and context and background before getting to a recipe, I thought that the format of a faux recipe blog would be perfect.
